This course delves into the world of film, covering a range of topics over a 48-hour period spread across two months. By the end of the course, students will have gained a solid foundation in the covered subjects, paving the way for further learning through both practical on-set experience or academic studies. The course will cover a variety of key subjects, including Set Design, which explores how to manipulate location, time, and geography to enhance storytelling and ensure continuity. Costume Design will delve into the use of costumes in cinema and theatre to effectively convey story and character, while Makeup will explore the practical applications of makeup in film, including the various types and their uses. By covering these key areas, students will be equipped with the basic skills to launch their journey Costume and Set Design.
