Editing / Colouring

This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of film editing, as well as the fundamentals of colour and colouring film footage. This subject has become increasingly important as more filmmakers take on the task of editing and colouring their own work for projects such as promotional content, documentaries, and music videos. By covering these topics, the course aims to equip students with the necessary skills to undertake small projects and deliver them to clients. The course duration is 48 hours, spread over two months, during which students will work on real-world projects to gain practical experience. The course content includes a variety of subjects such as news editing, which covers different formats for broadcasting and what to pay attention to when viewing raw footage. Documentary editing will teach different ways of dealing with the footage from various filming styles, while fiction editing will teach students how to use editing to provoke emotions and tools such as length of shot and edit point. In addition to these subjects, the course will cover the basics of colour science, psychology of colour, and other related topics.
